Manisha Shah is a passionate Modern Mithila Artist and a freelancer who believes that the traditional art form is not only a personal endeavour, but also a cultural mission. She believes that modernisation and technology, contemporary to popular belief, have not harmed Mithila art; instead, they open new avenues for its promotion and preservation.  Her art has not only brought her recognition but also provided a medium for advocacy and self-expression. She aspires to take Mithila culture to the global platforms. She has pursued her Master's degree in Creative Arts.
