Being from the Mithila community, I believe that it's my responsibility to create and promote Mithila art on different platforms. It can serve as a means of instilling values and translating experiences across space and time, and also highlight the diversity of Nepal on various platforms. I have done different works mostly using acrylic and fevicryl colors. In this painting, I have shown some parts of our heritage, the Janaki temple, and four women in a Ghoonghat. First is with a full Ghoonghat, and it's gradually decreasing. From this, it's clear that women with or without a Ghoonghat have the same respect for their Culture. In short, we cannot judge anyone by their outer appearance; it's all about internal feelings.
